About us

At Motive, we’re building a culture where fitness is joyful and approachable. We are dedicated to building an inviting and community-focused environment for people at every stage of their fitness journey — whether you’re just getting started, returning after a break, or an experienced athlete.

Training here isn’t about pushing to exhaustion every session. It’s about feeling good, moving well, and building habits that last.

During the peak of the pandemic in 2020, The Daily Movement started as a way to keep people active at home. After restrictions eased, the online movement switched to outdoor training sessions in public spaces in Singapore – from badminton courts to the void decks of HDB blocks.

Over the years, we outgrew these public spaces and needed to find a home so we could include more people into our community. We finally found that space and called our new gym Motive, nestled in the Toh Tuck neighbourhood at 15 Eng Kong Terrace. 

Our classes prioritise simplicity and effectiveness by concentrating on fundamental movements and avoiding overly technical exercises. This scalable approach minimises injury risk, promotes recovery, and supports consistency.

Focused on building strength and enhancing functional movement, we want you to boost your overall well-being so you can move comfortably and confidently. With the close guidance of our dedicated coaches, you’ll always be in safe, capable hands.
